Affordable Home and Office Removals commenced operations in November 2003, with one truck and working as a home based business. The business was originally established to fill a gap in the local market, by providing superior levels of customer needs services to the growing number of families and business relocating to the Sunshine Coast.
The gap was identified after the founder, Andrew Grima, researched and worked in the removal industry with various companies on the Sunshine Coast for 10 years. Andrew was able to identify a niche in the market and introduced specific strategies to meet the needs of this market segment. Of particular importance to this niche was the attention to detail, quality staff, standard uniforms and a continuous training regime.
Our staff consist of experienced, professional, well mannered team members. As Andrew has worked in the industry for over 10 years, he felt it important to maintain a happy, friendly work environment. All staff attend a BBQ bacon and egg breakfast every morning before the commencement of work and our work social club maintains a relationship outside work hours. A happy worker is a good worker! Since November 2003 the business has seen significant growth. With the introduction of its unique storage facility and the purchase of two additional trucks, Affordable Home and Office Removals now average over 25 local removals per week.
